Commissioning at Goetting & Associates has evolved over a 25 year period as it has in the A/E/C industry. It began with the creation of the Building Systems Management Group (BSM) in 1982. This group focused primarily on re-commissioning, retro-commissioning, on-going commissioning, and continuous commissioning. The clients consisted mainly of existing building owners such as GPM (two tenant office buildings), Methodist Hospital (a full service patient hospital), several high rise condominiums, Oak Hills Medical Office building, etc. Read more

Goetting and Associates has been involved in many commissioning projects over the last fifteen years with clients such as USAA, Zachry, Southwest Foundation, the Corp of Engineers and the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. Each of these projects had different commissioning needs and requirements. Our experience and understanding of the commissioning process allows us to provide our clients with the tailored commissioning services that meet THEIR specific needs. Our goal is to provide our clients with commissioning that gives them the best return on investment (ROI) for their budget, and allows their operating staff to better operate and maintain the facility.

Port Authority of San Antonio LEED® Cx Goetting & Associates is providing fundamental building commissioning services for a 30,900 sf office finish-out necessary to satisfy the Energy and Atmosphere (EA) prerequisite 1 LEED® certification program. Additionally, we will provide the reviews and documentation to qualify for the EA credit 3 enhanced commissioning. Read more

The Rim Office Building LEED Cx This project includes a 147,830 sf three-story office building. Goetting & Associates is providing the fundamental building commissioning services necessary to satisfy prerequisites of the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) Certification program. Prominent Pointe II This project consists of a 105,500 sf three-story office building with an attached six-level parking garage. Included in the facility is a central condenser water plant. This project is seeking an Austin Energy Green Building rating and third party commissioning is required to attain that status. Read more
Battlefield Health and Trama Center ...This project will construct a new biomedical research building with laboratory, vivarium, and vivarium support facilities. The new research building will be connected via underground corridor to the existing USAISR facility. The project will also provide alteration, remodeling, and repair of existing USAISR facilities to accommodate the requirements of the BHT. Read more
